I like to think ‘Mystique’ captures a little bit of stage magic. I’m reminded of spectacular theatre productions or magic shows with dramatic lighting, special effects and a seriously excessive amount of dry ice billowing across the stage.
‘Mystique’s’ glowing, tubular formations suggest the almost surreal undulations of light and ever-changing swirling patterns created when strong stage lights penetrate a wispy, amorphous mist. Wave after wave of rippling colours dance before your eyes with mesmerising effect.
As the title suggests, ‘Mystique’ has an air of mystery and allure, and I like to think a little thespian pizzazz to boot.
