I have a beautiful peace lily in my kitchen which requires regular care and attention. One morning I placed it on the bench to do some watering and noticed the sun shining brilliantly through its glossy leaves. Traces of tiny veins and more prominent ridges leap out as one leaf in particular, adopted a striking, backlit green glow. I grabbed my camera and took a few quick pictures before the sun retreated behind several grey, dirty looking clouds.

As I reviewed what I’d taken that morning, I found myself imaging the intricate and detailed patterning on the leaf as the folds and creases of thick, luxurious curtains. Wondering how best to illustrate this, I hit upon using a vertical styled triptych to emphasise the long, flowing lines and sense of undulating fabric. I also had a ready-made ‘window’ within the three long panels, across which ‘Leaf Drapery’ could be elegantly pulled.

ADD The finishing touch…

I’m very flexible around sizing and print substrates, and am more than happy to discuss how we create a unique look for your project.

__CONFIG_colors_palette__{“active_palette”:0,”config”:{“colors”:{“62516”:{“name”:”Main Accent”,”parent”:-1}},”gradients”:[]},”palettes”:[{“name”:”Default Palette”,”value”:{“colors”:{“62516”:{“val”:”var(–tcb-skin-color-0)”}},”gradients”:[]}}]}__CONFIG_colors_palette__ Start the Conversation

Click on picture to enter gallery and view full sized images

Images displayed on this page use the Limited Edition format.
